Chevrolet Blazer EV
Release Date: 2024
Starting Price: $44,995
Chevrolet jumped into the EV market with both feet and has several highly anticipated electric vehicles debuting in 2023-2024, none more so than the Chevy Blazer EV. The Chevy Blazer is one of the most iconic SUVs ever made, and the Blazer EV is the newest addition to its storied legacy.
Hitting the market in the summer of 2023, the Chevy Blazer EV has its own distinct body style and will be available in four trims. The mid-range 2LT and RS models will be released first, followed by the top-performing SS model and lowest-priced 1LT model in 2024. Each model will have unique capabilities and advantages, with the top-tier SS providing 557 horsepower and a 0-60 in under four seconds and the RS offering a GM-estimated 320-mile range on a fully charged battery.
Depending on the trim selected, the Chevy Blazer EV offers front- or rear-wheel drive configurations, as well as all-wheel drive options. The mid-sized SUV also comes standard with advanced safety features such as a forward-collision warning system, automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, lane-keeping assistance, and adaptive cruise control.
The Chevy Blazer EV is expected to compete with similar vehicles, such as the Ford Mustang Mach-E, Kia EV6, Hyundai Ioniq 5, Volkswagen ID.4, and the Tesla Model Y.
Kia EV9

It will be available in rear- and all-wheel-drive, and Kia says its all-wheel drive and rear-wheel-drive Long Range models will have an estimated range of 300 miles.
The standard rear-wheel drive option will be good for up to 223 miles on a full charge. The Kia EV9 comes with a variety of safety features, including:
· Standard automated emergency braking with pedestrian detection

The electric SUV has three trims to choose from, a standard rear-wheel drive with 215 horsepower, Long Range rear-wheel drive with 201 horsepower, and a dual-motor all-wheel-drive model with 379 horsepower. Kia also plans on releasing a performance-driven GT model in 2025 that could offer as much as 576 horsepower.
The Kia AV9 is expected to compete with other electric SUVs like the Tesla Model X and Rivian R1S.
Chevrolet Equinox EV
Release Date: Early 2024

The Chevrolet Equinox EV is a highly anticipated addition to Chevy’s growing fleet of electric vehicles and will come in two distinct forms, the LT and RS—with several available trims, drive configurations, and range options.
The entry-level front-wheel drive option will have 210 horsepower and provide around 250 miles of range. Upper-tier models will come with a larger battery pack that can extend the range to up to 300 miles, though opting for all-wheel-drive will reduce that to 280 miles. Every Chevrolet Equinox EV model will come standard with a number of attractive safety features, including:

Chevrolet Silverado EV
Release Date: Early 2024
Starting Price: Est. $52,000
Another exciting release for Chevrolet, the Silverado EV, provides an array of capabilities that traditional truck enthusiasts will love. The full-size all-wheel-drive pickup offers a standard towing capacity of 10,000 pounds, with a payload capacity of up to 1,440 pounds. Chevy has also indicated that a model with an impressive 20,000-pound towing capacity will eventually join the lineup.
Chevrolet rolled out the fleet-specific electric 4WT Work Truck, off-road Trail Boss, and loaded RST trims first, available as of spring 2023, but will unveil additional mid-range trims later.
The Work Truck, while lacking many of the pricier trims' cool features, features 510 horsepower and an EPA-estimated 450 miles of range. The Trail Boss model comes loaded up with a variety of off-road features, including locking differentials, all-terrain tires, and other adventure-ready capabilities. The top-tier RST trim offers a whopping 754 horsepower, as well as luxury interior features such as an all-glass roof, black-and-white two-tone leather upholstery, and as much passenger space as a regular Silverado crew cab.
The Silverado EV is expected to compete with other electric trucks like the Rivian R1T, Ford F-150 Lightning, and Tesla's Cybertruck.
2024 Ford F-150 Lightning
Release Date: Spring 2024
Starting Price: $49,995
Since its all-electric debut in 2021, the Ford F-150 Lightning has been an instant fan favorite, selling out on its initial reservation in only two months. With each year since, Ford has continued to introduce new features and improvements to its popular all-electric truck, and the 2024 model is no exception.
As an electric version of America’s most popular pickup truck, the new Ford Lightning represents an important transformational milestone in the trucking landscape away from fossil fuels. With its classic design, rugged features, and 10,000-pound towing capacity, the electric Lightning is very similar to its gas-powered F-50 counterpart, with a few notable differences. For example, the all-wheel-drive Lightning exhibits the trademark electric acceleration, reaching 0-60 in about four seconds, features a fully independent rear suspension, and its front trunk, or frunk, provides a large amount of weathertight storage where the engine would normally go.
Standard models offer a range of around 240 miles, with the option for an extended-range battery, which bumps that up to an EPA-estimated 320 miles. The Lightning offers five trim levels: Pro, XLT, XLT High, Lariat, and Platinum, each with different top speeds, ranges, and features.
There's more exciting news for Lightning fans. In mid-July, Ford announced that the F-150 Lightning will receive a price reduction of nearly $10,000, bringing the starting price for standard models down to $49,995.
The Lightning is expected to compete against similar electric trucks like the aforementioned Chevy Silverado EV, GMC's Hummer EV, the Rivian R1T, and the Tesla Cybertruck.
Tesla Cybertruck
Release Date: 2024
Starting Price: TBA
Tesla’s long-awaited Cybertruck is finally entering production in 2023. While many of the concrete details surrounding the futuristic-looking all-electric truck are still unknown, Tesla has hinted at some of its potential features and capabilities.
Along with the state-of-the-art safety measures present in all Tesla models, the Cybertruck features an exterior shell made from Ultra-Hard 30X Cold-Rolled stainless steel for maximum durability and passenger protection. In addition to 100 cubic feet of lockable cargo space, the truck will have a payload capacity of 3,500 pounds and will be capable of towing up to 14,000 pounds.
The Cybertruck also boasts impressive performance, with its powerful drivetrain and low center of gravity providing extraordinary traction control and torque—enabling acceleration from 0-60 mph in as little as 2.9 seconds and up to 500 miles of range.
When the truck was unveiled in 2019, Tesla stated that the Cybertruck’s starting price would be around $40,000, but has since indicated that could change. To date, over 1.8 million Cybertrucks have already been ordered, and Tesla continues to take reservations via $100 refundable deposits.
